We're excited to introduce a whopping 20 designers for our lineup for our shows in 2023.

The First show is Friday December 16th, 2022,
AT:
Candela at the Lux (120 E 1st St N) @candelaatthelux
from 4pm-7pm with a runway show starting at 530pm.

ICT Fashion Tour (Pt. 11 of (12?)

And now, the final (look), and TRUE back story.
Title: 1978 Miss Asia/ Air Capital of the World

Most of you are aware of the war in North and South Vietnam.
You likely know someone who served, lived and or had to suffer through the hell of the fall of Saigon.
I know I do.

In the late 1970’s, I served my obligatory stint working at Cessna Aircraft.
This was the timeframe where hundreds (Thousands??) of Southeast Asian refugees came to the ICT.
Many came to work at Cessna.

On more than one or several times, I was privy to hearing racist bullshit uttered by whining, lazy-ass,
schmucks about the new citizens.
“Why’d SHE that job? Just a TOKEN I bet! … I shoulda’ got that job! ... F#%&☼@!”
The only response I could muster was, “Well dude, maybe because SHE has a degree in electrical engineering…and YOU barely got your GED. Hmmm???”

So…that experience was the inspiration to design this “Look”.

I believe MY hometown is SO much better with the extra diversity.

Kaylee…well, Kaylee is just awesome.
Great gal, hella model, going into the medical field, SUPER fun, committed board member.

Relevant side note … Tereza Zardoz wore this garment FIRST at the “BE SEEN” Runway event.

Tereza, Shelly Blasi, and my DARLING Wife Sheryl took a pair of my old ATT coveralls
And turned them into this “Rosie” costume.
